Capital Project Delivery Program

The project is currently in the third phase phase, Final Design/Right-of-Way Acquisition, where  Ocean County advances the project from preliminary engineering into a fully detailed, build-ready package. This phase refines all design elements, confirms regulatory and environmental compliance, coordinates right-of-way needs, and prepares the complete Construction Contract Documents (CCDs)/PS&E package. Project Funding

This project will receive federal funding included in the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2023, (Public Law 117-328) Division L, Title I, Highway Infrastructure Programs. This funding will be authorized through the New Jersey Department of Transportation’s (NJDOT) Division of Local Aid and Economic Development and will follow the NJDOT Capital Project Delivery process.
